Description
This is a half round file, a hand woodworking tool used for smoothing wood, which tapers slightly towards the end. It is inscribed 'WARRANTED CAST STEEL' on the handle fixing. It was used by the donor's father, who was a carpenter and wheelwright in Braishfield, Hampshire.
