The two arms of the docking iron are joined by a bolt. The blade end of each of the handles is bound by an iron band. // The blade which is round measures 3 inches across, the whole tool is 17.5 inches in length. // See also 51/383 // Science Museum Nos. 15206 Inv. 1937-151.
