    Chestnut roaster, made of sheet iron. Chestnut roasters in the form of iron boxes have been prevalent since the 18th century.
    This is a cylindrical chestnut roaster. It is made of sheet iron; the lid is hinged to the side, and the handle hooks through two iron loops bolted to each side. Nothing is known of its origin, though chestnut roasters in the form of iron boxes have been prevalent since the 18th century.
