    DEACCESSIONED. Please note that this object no longer forms part of the Museum of English Rural Life collection and cannot be accessed at our institution. This charabanc belonged to an undertaker in Whitwick, Leicestershire, and was used for Sunday school outings and other excursions. It seats about 12-14 people, on seats on the sides of the interior, so that the entrance is by means of 3 steps at the back. It has a wooden roof with moveable canvas sides. It was made in about 1890. It has since been transferred to the Science Museum, in London.
