  • Description
    The bit was used on the farm at Great Cornard in Suffolk, and is probably a breaking in bit.
    This bit for a horse is made of iron, and consists of two short iron bars which are linked together by a small ring. Each bar is encircled by six small iron rings which are moveable. At the extreme ends of the two bars long pieces of metal with rings are fixed. The bit was used on the farm at Great Cornard in Suffolk, and is probably a breaking in bit.
