    Double oven glove related to the fictional BBC show The Archers. Features depictions of country life and the village of Ambridge.
    This double oven glove is related to the fictional BBC Four show The Archers. It is yellow in colour and features depictions of country life related to the Archers and the fictional village of Ambridge. 'The archers of ambridge' is printed in red as part of the tea towel's pattern. This is one of a selection of items loaned to the MERL for the 2011 exhibition 'Everyday stories of country folk: 60 years of The Archers and MERL: 1951-2011'.
