Linocut print. ‘Milking Parlour’ depicts three dairy cows in a milking parlour. The artist produced the print after visiting the Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR) in Aborfield, part of the University of Reading. Photographs from the dairy farm were used as reference points in the making of this relief print. The cows are seen from behind, their udders are inserted into the teat cups of a milking unit. The print is edition number 6/8 and is printed on Guarro ‘Super Alfa’ paper with black ink. The print is signed and dated by the artist. The print was acquired in a set of 4, including a hand-made presentation folio made by the artist.

The Residency culminated in an exhibition. http://www.firstfoodresidency.com/.
