    This lathe tool has a v-shaped blade, and is used in conjunction with a lathe to produce narrow grooves on round wooden objects, either for ornament or use. The words ‘Rings Bros. London’ appear on the blade near the turned handle. It belonged to a family of Chilterns chair bodgers from Turville Heath, Buckinghamshire.
