    This wooden clay spade came from a farm at Moreton Trussell, near Market Harborough, Northamptonshire.
    This wooden clay spade came from a farm at Moreton Trussell, near Market Harborough, Northamptonshire. It is constructed of one solid piece of willow, bound with a thin sheet of metal along the centre of the blade. The red band painted on the handle was used to indicate the donor's ownership.
