    Milk cooler, made by R. A. Lister of Dursley, salvaged from Lynch Farm, Shalbourne, owned by two elderly sisters, the Miss Stranges.
    This is a metal milk cooler. It forms part of a collection of milking equipment that was salvaged from Lynch Farm, Shalbourne, near Marlborough in Wiltshire, which was next door to the donor's home. The farm was owned by two elderly sisters, the Miss Stranges, who left the land to Mrs Bastin of Ropewind Farm. On Lynch Farm there was a shed with circa four standings. It was made by made by R. A. Lister of Dursley. On the side at the top is a stamp which reads, 'DURSLEY // Lister // MADE IN ENGLAND'. The pipe protruding from the side at the top is labelled 'INLET', which the pipe protruding from the side at the bottom is labelled 'OUTLET'.
