    This goblet-shaped ornament is made of laburnum wood and consists of a solid base and a cup-shaped top. It has not been turned, but hollowed out with a brace and various sized bits, and finally finished with a knife. This is shown by the marks on the inside of the cup. The origin of this ornament is unknown.
