    This is the certifcate of authenticity for a ceramic decorated plate manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood and Sons of Barlaston, Staffordshire, in 1988. It is entitled 'Morning in the Farmyard' and is the first in the series 'Life on the Farm' designed by the artist John L. Chapman (1946–). The plate depicts a colourful scene of a timber-framed house on the right and two horses pulling a cart on the left. The plate is number 8623H of an edition limited to 150 firing days. The plate comes in a box with a leaflet in addition to the certificate of authenticity.
