    MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This candle bracket is designed to be driven into a wall. It is made of jointed sections so that it can be moved backwards and forwards on a horizontal plane or from left to right. On account of sever corrosion some of the joints no longer work. If fully extended it would measure approximately 41 inches long. It is made of wrought iron and has a spike at the end.', No Lavinia Smith No. recorded.
