    This is a four page programme, costing six pence, for the Village Industries Exhibition held at the Corn Exchange in Maidstone on 8–9 October 1918. The cover shows a drawing of Ceres and a ploughman. The Exhibition was organised by the West Kent Women’s Agricultural Committee and the Horticultural Sub-Committee for West Kent. It featured two sections – handicrafts and food production – as well as an opening ceremony and various demonstrations. The programme gives details of the exhibits, the committee and the judges.
