Description
This rocking chair has a removable seat which acts as a lid to a storage space below. It has a box shape with high back and wings, and arm rests with rounded ends. The cushion is fixed to the lid and is covered in a dark tapestry embroidery. The chair was thought to have originated in the north of England, and was called a 'Shepherd's' rocking chair by the donor.
