This is a rectangular cardboard box containing the following items: A. 4 batyrometers which hold a sample of 9.7 ml milk. The graduated scale measures from 0-8% butter fat. Each has a rubber cork.

C. One lactometer
D. Instructions and charts.

MERL Miscellaneous note-Georgia Charitou- 27 October 2014- The chemical solution for adding to the milk was not present. The maker of the kit is S.T Haupher. It was supplied by Sutherland Thomson and Co. Ltd, Wells, Somerset.
