    A breast ploughshare used circa 1930 for market gardening and allotment work. Before that, it had been used behind a pony for strain ploughing.
    This iron breast ploughshare dates from the second half of the nineteenth century. It was last used circa 1930 for market gardening and allotment work. Before that, it had been used behind a pony for strain ploughing with a chain was attached to the socket of the share.
