Description
Drenching gun used for administering medicine in liquid form to horses and cattle. 'Cooper's R.T.Z. Drenching gun' From Nettlebed, Oxon.
A metal drenching gun with a rubber lining and a curved spout, used for administering medicine in liquid form to horses and cattle. The gun has a hand-operated plunger which allows different amounts of drench to be pumped out according to need. It is attached to a rubber pouch which would be filled with the medicine. It is marked 'Cooper's R.T.Z. Drenching gun' and 'Not suitable for use with oil based drenches'. The gun belonged to the donor's neighbour in Nettlebed, Oxfordshire, who had been a farmer.
