  • Description
    This is a crimping machine. a tool used in the ironing process. The rollers of this machine are made from brass, and are mounted on an iron frame which is in turn mounted on a rectangular wooden base. There is a brass screw above the rollers by which the pressure could be varied. A wooden handle is attached to a brass arm on the upper roller; it is a dark fine grained wood and a band of bone has been inserted for decoration.
