    Navy blue velvet trousers, part of a coachman's livery. Used by Mr Henry Thomas and worn between 1896 and 1904.
    These trousers are part of a coachman's livery. This livery was used by Mr Harvey Thomas’s father, Henry, and was worn between 1896 and 1904 when Henry was coachman to the High Sherif of Berkshire, Mr Arthur Harvey Thursby. The uniform consisting of a jacket, a waistcoat, trousers, stockings, top hand and accessories. These knee length trousers are made of navy blue velvet with a pile.
