    This is a trap ball game made of wood. It was found unaccessioned in the Museum and its origins are unknown. This game has many names in different parts of England. The game is played by two teams and runs are scored as in cricket. A soft ball is shot into the air when the trigger is hit and this is struck with a bat. The greater the distance the ball is sent the more runs that can be scored.
