    Reaccessioned in MERL Archives as document. This is a comprehensive catalogue of implements manufactured by Barrett, Exall & Andrewss at Katesgrove Iron Works in Reading. It was printed by John Snare, of Reading. The catalogue includes a considerable range of ploughs, subsoil ploughs, cultivators and harrows, winnowing machines, gorse crushers, mills, tile drain makers, carts and numerous other miscellaneous items. The introduction announces that the firm have recently taken a farm in the vicinity for the purpose, 'not of profit, but of practically testing every machine and implement we make'. It goes on to point out that free delivery is obtainable in London, Bristol, Gloucester, Birmingham or Southampton. There is a full description of each item and prices are given. The catalogue concludes with a list of users of hand and horse power threshing machines.
