This is a Singer sewing-machine model 201K, serial number EC646091. The machine is a top of the range domestic sewing machine. According to the serial number it was manufactured in 1940. The machine is in a wooden box. The metal machine is painted black with gold decoration and sits on a wooden base. There is an accessories box with a metal lid in the base. The object is part of the Barnett Collection. DEACCESSIONED.
