This machine is painted black with gold decoration, and sits on a wooden base. It's production/serial number is AC177162, manufactured in 1928. Part of the Barnett Collection (81/25-81/143) which illustrates the history of the sewing machine. DEACCESSIONED.

It features a model number: 69/5. It also features a production/serial number: AC177162. If any machines were to be put forward for deaccession and possible disposal or use in handling contexts, this would be a likely candidate.', MERL Miscellaneous note - According to the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society website Singer's Elizabethport factory issued AC serial numbers from 1928-1930, and the number AC177162 from 22 May 1928.
