  • Description
These cutters are a domestic utensil for breaking loaf sugar into pieces suitable for table use. They are made of wrought iron and have an incised pattern on the pivot of the jaws. There is a spike on the outside of one of the handles which was intended to prevent the knuckles of the user from hitting the table. They were bought at farm sale in Kniveton, Derbyshire.
