This is a tinned cone with 27 smaller cones fitted inside each other and enclosed in the outer cone. The central cone has a central steel rod and a rim with a rubber ring inside. This would have been used as part of a machine for seperating cream from milk. These items were used at Hertfordshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture, St. Albans.
