  • Description
    This iron came from Tywardreath, Cornwall. It is made of wrought iron and has a turned wooden handle. The heating compartment is closed by a sliding iron door which is raised by means of a rod. There is a round hole which passes right through the block so that it could be picked out of the fire by a rod.
