    A cow's tail holder used to prevent the cow swishing its tail whilst being milked. From Loversall, South Yorkshire.
    This is a cow's tail holder, used to prevent the cow switching its tail whilst being milked. The ring went round the cow's leg and the tuft of hair at the end of the tail was gripped in the teeth. This holder came from Loversall, South Yorkshire, via Miss Furwell at the Countryman.
