  • Description
    This is a coin-operated tobacco box - inserting a coin into the slot releases a small packet of tobacco when the left hand side opens. It is made of brass, and stamped 'RICH'S PATENT'. According to members of the Antique Metalware Society, who examined the object in 2002, it may have been made by Barlow of Birmingham.
