    This is a wooden chest, which is said to be 15th century in date, though possibly as late as the 17th century. The chest has no hinges but marks from the orinals remain. It was orignally property of the Ashwell family from Coddington, near Newark, Nottinghamshire.

No hinges, although marks of original remain. Dimensions: Length: 128.5cm Width: 50.5cm Height: 71.5cm // Associated Information: Originally property of the Ashwell family from Coddington, nr. Newark. Belonged to the Great- Grandfather of the donor.’
