Description
An elm hub block - a seasoned piece of wood ready to be made into a wheel hub. It was made by A. & H. Godfrey, wheelwrights of Southmoor, Oxfordshire circa 1958. The firm also made ladders from old wagon parts and worked the forge in the village.
