    This is a cloth banner for the United Female Friendly Society. The cloth banner, possibly made of silk, has a painted design featuring Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, framed by pillars. The design also includes a sun and moon motif. At the top is a lamb of god with staff and sickle. There is also an inscription of 'THOU SHALT NOT EAT OF IT, UNITED FEMALE FRIENDLY SOCIETY'.

Dimensions: Length: 89cm Width: 61cm. The banner is now framed: 112x80cm // Associated information: Original accession sheet lost in 1988 when the banner was loanes to Brighton Polytechnic.’
