Description
A skimmer originally owned by cheesemakers, so most likely used to help separate the curd from the whey.
This skimmer has a circular brass plate perforated with round holes and a long iron handle with a hook on the end so that it could be hung up beside the fire. Original owners were cheesemakers, so mostly likely used to help separate the curd from the whey.
