This is stove paste, which was used to polish cast iron. Found at South Leigh, Oxfordshire, G. W. R. station when purchased by Mr Holt. The tin is marked ‘JESTER STOVE PASTE. G. W. R. Fortune and Co Ltd. Preston Lancs'.
