Kew, Baker, Sonning Common, Oxfordshire, January 1966// Description: Red painted decorative wrought iron stand with beam. Round metal pan for weight suspended by three chains with a brass plumb bob also. Round white enamel pan for the bread suspended by single metal arm. // Dimensions: Height: 88cm, Width: 44cm. Pan-metal: d.17cm, Pan- enamel: d.25cm // Associated information: Inscription: John Wilder, Scale Makers, Yeild hall Reading. Two decorative crests on each side of central stand. To weigh 10 lbs. These scales were used at Mr Kew’s baker’s shop in Sonning Common.’, Error in numbering: 66/134 and 66/134/1-4 are two different sets of scales but have the same number.
