    MERL 'Handwritten accession' form (Institute of Agricultural History) – 'CLINKER- PICKER // Description: A long handled tool with two curved prongs which are fixed and a third prong which can be moved by rotating the ring at the end of the handle. //DIMENSIONS: Length: 95.0cm// ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This tool was identified by a visitor to the museum as a tool for removing clinker from the fire box of a small boiler or fire engine. A it came from a dairy farm the steam engine may have been used to drive the dairy machinery.’
