    This teapot came from a cottage in Ickford, Buckinghamshire, and was last used in 1842. It is made of Britannia metal, and the handle is insulated at the top and bottom with rings of horn. The handle, spout and lid are decorated and there is a hall mark stamped on the lid.

    MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This teapot came from a cottage in Ickford (Bucks) where it was last used in 1842.
