Description
A wooden folding measuring square with a brass hinge. It was used at R. Middleton & Sons wheelwrights shop in Eddington, Hungerford.
This is a wooden folding measuring square with a brass hinge. The arms are of equal length, with brass tips, and one has two metal spurs which fit into grooves in the opposite arm. The arms are marked in inches when folded, and in eighths up to 18 inches. It was used at R. Middleton & Sons wheelwrights shop in Eddington, Hungerford.
