    MERL 'Handwritten catalogue' form – 'HOOK // Fences - Hedges', Letter, H. A. Beecham to C. A. Jewell, 30 April 1962 - 'Right next door to Mrs Bonham's cottage are the remains, or rather ruins, of her late husband's saddler's shop. These ruins are simply overflowing with the entire contents accumulated, I suppose, over some sixty or seventy years and some of them, possibly, going back to an earlier occupant.'
