A screw crease is an adjustable double crease - the screw is used to adjust the distances between the two crease blades. The user can then make two parallel lines in leather of a specific distance apart. This screw crease was used by a saddler and cobbler in Yattendon, Berkshire, who had worked there from 1901 until the early 1960s.
