This is a lead stick, part of a plough. It was used in the 'Eastern counties' of England, and bought at an auction in Lincoln.
This is a lead stick, part of a plough. It consists of a wooden pole handle fitten into an iron socket consisting of two pieces of iron which curved round the handle on each side. An iron loop at the top of the socket revolves, and two buckles and leathers are fitted through the loop. It was used in the 'Eastern counties' of England, and bought at an auction in Lincoln.
