    This is a seedlip, a wooden container used for holding seeds during sowing. It is oval in shape, made of wood with small iron supports. One side is gently curved to allow it to fit comfortably against the sower's body. A tall handle on the other side enables it to be held in place. Nothing is known about where this seedlip was made or used.
