    This stock knife, or clogmakers knife, has been adapted for trimming besoms (brooms made of brush or twigs). This knife was used at Dryderdale Mill, in Hamsterley, County Durham. It was used with a hook (61/129) attached to a bench, enabling it to be used with a lever motion.
