 The Secrets of Healthy Ageing

 

In this workshop we will be discussing the question 'How can you achieve healthy ageing?' The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences is delighted to be hosting "Brain Training" expert Professor Ryuta Kawashima from Tohoku University in Japan. Join us for a very special interactive workshop, where Professor Kawashima will be joined by leading diet and exercise experts from the University of Reading to discuss the 'Secrets to Healthy Ageing'.

The School of Psychology & Clinical Language Sciences, enjoys an international reputation based on a world-class contribution to psychology, language sciences and neuroscience.  The Effects of Brain Training

 

The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences is delighted to be hosting leading "Brain Training" expert Professor Ryuta Kawashima from Tohoku University in Japan (Top 50 Universities in the world), as well as leading researchers from the UK: Dr Anne Corbett from King's College and Professor Arlene Astell from University of Sheffield.

In this session our speakers will explore the latest evidence for brain training, followed by a Q&A session and buffet lunch. The session is intended for researchers (staff and PhD students) with interests in areas spanning ageing, exercise, cognition, education and neurorehabilitation.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday 13 September 2016 in MET GU01 Lecture Theatre, Whiteknights campus and will commence at 10.30am.
