Areas of Interest

My research, teaching and clinical work focusses on children with speech, language and communication disorders. I am particularly interested in which interventions are most effective for different speech and language disorders and how these interventions are delivered to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people and families I am also interested in the links between genes, brain and behaviour in developmental speech and language disorders through using structural and functional imaging.

I am also interested in research capacity building to enable clinically relevant research to take place that will have a direct impact on people who are living with speech and language disorders.
