Lecturer - AEP Co-ordinator and PSE Course Director

During the autumn and spring terms, my main responsibility is developing and teaching discipline specific academic skills provision for the Academic English Programme (AEP). I oversee AEP courses for the Department of English Language and Linguistics, the Institute of Education, Henley Business School (UG) and the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences. In the summer, I am Course Director for the UG Course within the Pre-sessional English Programme (PSE).

I studied French and Spanish at the University of Manchester before training to teach English. I worked overseas teaching English in Holland, Poland, Spain and Australia then returned to the UK to complete my MEd in English Language Teaching. In the UK I have taught in Further Education as an ESOL tutor and teacher trainer, and at the Universities of Salford, Manchester and Liverpool on a wide range of EAP courses for international students. I joined ISLI in January 2018.
