Bio:
I am from South Africa, and because I did a bachelor's degree there and completed a Higher Diploma in Education by correspondence through the University of South Africa before doing a Master's at the University of Reading, I can understand many of the problems experienced by international students when studying at English universities.

I began teaching in language schools in Dublin, and then came to Reading to do an MA English Language Teaching in 2004-5. I taught ESOL and short academic courses at Thames Valley University before joining ISLI in 2007.

A Few Personal Comments:
I am a keen long-distance runner, and also enjoy relaxing activities like reading and gardening.
