Chris Bonham

I graduated from the University of Leicester with a BA in Geography with a Year Abroad. I spent my year abroad as an Erasmus student at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. I definitely caught the study abroad bug, having worked in three university Erasmus and study abroad offices since graduation. I got a lot out of my year abroad, and what motivates me is seeing students benefitting from international mobility as I did.

I support students from first enquiry, through to nomination, application and eventually them joining the University of Reading Study Abroad Programme. I am also the first point of contact while students are at Reading if they have any questions or concerns, directing them to and working with specialist colleagues across the University as and when needed. I also organise trips and events to promote the feeling of a Study Abroad community on campus. After the students leave Reading, I organise the collection of grades and issuing of transcripts.
