  • The earliest account book described below is thought by the donor to have been kept by her husband's maternal great grandfather and his son, Joseph Waters (1822-1919). Although the home of the Waters family was at Toyd, the family also held farms at East Martin, Britford and elsewhere in co. Dorset. The two later accounts were kept by the donor's father-in-law (William Targett) and by her husband (Ernest Howard Targett).
