  • The donor, of local farming stock, is regarded as one of the more progressive farmers in Harwood. Until October 1955 be farmed in partnership with J. Allinson. His livestock consists of Swaledale sheep, Shorthorn cattle (not solely for milk production) and ponies, which he has now begun to breed. The farm has been the subject of a Livestock Rearing Act Scheme The donor is a Methodist lay preacher and a local R.D.C.
